Viewing Your 3D Model in Your Room
Byrst makes it easy to visualize your 3D models in your own space using Augmented Reality (AR). This guide explains how to use the "View in Your Room" feature.
Option 1: Direct AR Viewing (Supported Mobile Devices)
On AR-capable phones and tablets, you can often view your models directly in AR.

Navigate to the Share Page: Open the link to the share page for your 3D model.

Select "View in Your Room": On the share page, locate and select the "View in Your Room" button or link.

Experience AR: If your device supports AR, the model should open directly in your device's AR viewer. Follow the on-screen instructions to place the model in your environment.
Option 2: QR Code Viewing (Desktop and Mobile)
This method allows you to initiate the AR experience from your desktop and view it on your mobile device using a QR code.

Access the Share Page (Desktop): On your computer, open the link to the share page for your 3D model.

Generate the QR Code: Locate and select the "View in Your Room" button or link. This action will generate a QR code on your desktop screen.

Scan the QR Code (Mobile): Open the camera app on your mobile device (iPhone or Android).

Capture the QR Code: Point your device's camera at the QR code displayed on your computer screen. Your device should recognize the QR code and provide a prompt or link.

View in AR (Mobile): Tap the prompt or link on your mobile device. This will open the 3D model in AR, allowing you to place it in your room.
General Tips for Optimal AR Viewing
- Lighting: Ensure the room is well-lit for accurate surface detection.
- Surface: For best results, point your device at a relatively flat and uncluttered surface.
- Stability: Avoid sudden movements while placing and viewing the model in AR.
